JOINTS AVE 130 Vela Bluewater Speargun
JOINTS AVE 130 Vela Bluewater Speargun
The AVE 130 is a dedicated high-performance bluewater speargun, named after the yellowfin tuna in Tahitian and designed for hunting powerful pelagic fish in open water.
Built around the Vela system — commonly known as an invert roller system — the AVE 130 delivers exceptional power with minimal recoil, maintaining stability and accuracy on long-range shots. Its configuration is designed to drive a heavy 8.5 mm shaft while keeping power delivery smooth and controlled.
Despite its performance, the AVE 130 remains compact, balanced and maneuverable for a bluewater gun, making it particularly suited to deep dives and demanding open-water hunting.
The laminated Burmese teak and unidirectional carbon fiber construction provides the rigidity, mass and balance required for high-powered bluewater shooting. A breakaway configuration allows the gun to separate from the shooting line after the shot, making it ideally suited to pure bluewater hunting.
